Social Change Grants

The Andersen Foundation devotes a portion of its annual grantmaking to catalyzing social change in Minnesota in the following areas: Political power and process, environmental justice, and civil/human rights.

The Andersen Foundation responds to critical community needs with a thoughtful, inclusive decision-making process. Within each of the three areas, the Andersen Foundation sets a goal and scans the landscape for organizations and funders currently working toward it. Grant decisions are reached through interviews, meetings, presentations, and other conversations.

This program does not accept unsolicited proposals.

Trustee-Directed Grants

Across the country, family members who are Andersen Foundation advisors make discretionary grants to traditional program areas in their communities.

This program does not accept unsolicited proposals.
