Discovering Common Ground

This website is one component of a multi-faceted initiative on immigration by The Minneapolis Foundation.

The Minneapolis Foundation is committed to:

  • providing information on the history, impact, and challenges of immigration in Minnesota
  • identifying and celebrating the economic and cultural contributions that immigrants bring to our state
  • promoting opportunities for immigrants to fully participate in civic and political life
  • fostering broad-based, constructive dialogue about creating a future for Minnesota in which everyone benefits

Entitled, Discovering Common Ground, this initiative includes public forums (via Minnesota Meeting), a public art exhibit (fall 2004), distribution of an educational brochure (published October 2004), and other activities.
